Anxiety
During times of stress, anxiety can be a normal response that prepares us to respond to a perceived threat. On the other hand, anxiety can also feel debilitating and cause emotional distress. Implementing coping skills can help manage symptoms. Anxiety disorder may be present when feelings become excessive, all-consuming, and interfere with daily living. For many of us, our anxiety is beyond the threshold of being protective and helpful. We may become consumed and debilitated by intrusive thoughts and physical sensations of anxiety. That’s where we come in. We help our clients to understand their anxiety and learn skills to cope with these feelings effectively so they can reach their full potential.
