Online therapy is provided through a HIPAA protected software where you are emailed a secure link before your appointment.
DO YOU OFFER SLIDING SCALE RATES?
Yes, therapy can be accessible and affordable. For clients paying out of pocket, I am able to offer a sliding scale fee as needed.
For clients using out of network benefits, Thrive Psychotherapy LCSW can provide you with a superbill that can be submitted to your insurance.
WHAT IS YOUR NO SHOW/CANCELATION POLICY?
Due to the high cost of offering services and operating a private practice, Thrive Psychotherapy LCSW has a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. Clients are asked to be mindful that the scheduling of an appointment involves the reservation of time set aside especially for you. Therefore, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for a cancellation of an appointment. We always do our best to reschedule make-up sessions.
IS THERAPY CONFIDENTIAL?
All communications are HIPAA protected. The confidentiality of all communications between a client and a therapist is protected by law. Aside from certain specific situations, a psychotherapist cannot tell anyone what you have discussed in therapy or even that you are in therapy without permission.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
Yes, we are licensed in New York and insurances accepted include Aetna, United Healthcare, UMR, Cigna, Oxford, Oscar.
HOW LONG WILL I BE IN THERAPY?
There is no specific time frame for therapy and every treatment plan is unique to the client’s needs. Our goal is to give you effective tools to use in your daily life to get you feeling better as soon as possible. Some people can resolve their issues in a few months while others require longer term treatment.
